there is something about photographing an individual that makes it is an intimate experience.
it's a balance of being quiet and intuitive enough to let someone open up their soul to you, and of being encouraging and assertive to help it unfurl. . but when it happens, as my mother in law would say, "BANGO!" you've got magic.
this family, wow. i've had the honor of grabbing those "bango" moments through the years, and life experiences.
and today as i edit and sort through the images of their brand new blessing, hunter, i do so with tears rolling down my cheeks.
this is life that you cannot go back to recapture.
this is today - what a privilege.
momma's is there anything sweeter than your newborn rooting on your chin or cheek? :)))
love you family
